Niki Marceau

We welcomed Zachary on February 3, 2021. It was a rough road and not the easiest pregnancy with many out of town visits to the specialist, but with the help and support of our wonderful doctor and the PDH staff he is here, healthy and a whopping 17.3 lbs already. Our doctor and nurses made sure the tests were done and the phone calls were made to ensure our baby was going to be safely delivered here, in our hometown hospital. There is really something special about a small community and the kind people who live here. They are our neighbors, our friends AND our care providers. Having the same doctor who delivered my first son, Easton, who is now 5, also deliver my second and final baby in the same place, in the same small town hospital will mean more to me than I will ever be able to express.

We owe so many thank you's to our family doctor, the OB coordinator, OB nurses and floor nurses, ultrasound techs, lab folks, respiratory therapists and so many more. Throughout both pregnancies and the entire experience all of my questions were answered, I was never made to feel like a burden, and I felt safe and well taken care of. Everyone was so helpful and kind. We will forever be grateful for both of the labor and delivery experiences at Plumas District Hospital.
