The Plumas Health Care Foundation (PHCF) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to supporting Plumas District Hospital through fundraising, community engagement, and charitable giving.
Simply put, the Foundation helps fund essential medical equipment, facility improvements, and health care initiatives that ensures our hospital can continue providing exceptional care close to home.
Our Executive Director and volunteer Board of Directors leads these efforts with dedication and heart, meeting regularly to carry out the Foundation’s mission and invest every contribution back into our community.
To promote Plumas District Hospital in the community and enhance the financial resources needed to sustain access to quality health care.
Thanks to generous donors, recently the Foundation has funded major projects, including:

• A $300,000 contribution toward the new Skilled Nursing Facility

• A digital mammography machine now in use at PDH

• New heating systems in patient rooms, improving comfort and care

• Incubation funding in preparation for the district to open Plumas County’s first birthing center

Every donation, large or small, directly supports access to quality health care in Plumas County. Your generosity helps ensure PDH remains strong for generations to come.
