Blake Ellis is an Associate Clinical Social Worker, the Program Manager for the Chico State Ecotherapy Program, a certified Forest Therapy Guide through the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy, and a Type 2 Wildland Firefighter. Blake is passionate about serving wildfire-impacted communities, prescribed fire, and helping transform Human-Earth relationships to be rooted in kinship, reciprocity, and care. She has lived in Chico, California, for 10 years and deeply loves her community and place. Blake enjoys spending time slowing down in nature, learning about native plants and animals, birding, cuddling with her many furry companions, and exploring new and familiar green spaces with her wonderful husband, Michael.
