The Occupational Therapist will have a great deal of flexibility in applying individual professional judgment, discretion, and skill in patient management and program development. Compensation for Non-Benefited, Per Diem Pay Scale
- Base Rate: $70.11–$99.96 per hour
- Starting pay is determined using our clinical pay scales, which feature 13 steps recognizing up to 30 years of relevant experience.
- Eligible employees may also receive shift differential and holiday pay.
Education:
- Bachelor degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited education institution.
- Current California Occupational Therapist License.
- Current Healthcare Provider BLS Certification, approved by the AHA.
Experience:
- Two to three (2-3) years’ experience in an acute care hospital, rehabilitation center and outpatient setting.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Compassionate and attentive to detail.
- Possess up-to-date knowledge of treatment practices.
- Ability to solve problems independently.
- Excellent analytical and logical thinking.
- Ability to manage patients with different personalities.
- Ability to write reports and correspondence at a professional level.
- Ability to use a computer and software proficiently.
- Drive to continually learn new treatment techniques.
- Completion of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA)-accredited residency program.
