We are thrilled to announce the opening of our Skilled Nursing Facility soon and we are eager to welcome new team members. This position assists the Activities Director in establishing a program of activities that is stimulating and that fosters a positive atmosphere through leisure activities that meet the spiritual, cultural, physical, intellectual and social needs of residents both inside and outside the Community.

 

Location

We are located at 1065 Bucks Lake Road, Quincy, CA 95971.

 

Compensation

Compensation Philosophy:

  • We have 30 pay increments on our pay scales to compensate staff for 30 years of relevant experience. 

Compensation range:

  • $22.42 - $31.97

Sign on Bonus:

  • A sign-on bonus is being offered in the amount of $1,500.00 to the successful incumbent for this position when hired in a full time employment status, subject to the terms of the agreement.

  • New hires who accept part-time benefited employment status in this role will be offered a pro-rated sign on bonus.

  • Employees hired in this role in a per diem employment status are ineligible for sign on bonuses.

Qualifications

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous experience working with seniors, preferably in Long Term Care
  • Point Click Care Software

Required Education: 

  • Current CPR Certification

Preferred Education:

  • Current California Certified Nursing Assistant License 

Knowlede, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Shows adaptability to varied situations, is empathetic, enthusiastic, creative and a resourceful personality
  • Ability to use Microsoft 365 programs such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Works well independently and with supervision, communicates well and is able to problem solve.
  • Possesses strong psychosocial assessment skills, has good interview skills and is knowledgeable regarding community resources.
  • Fulfills responsibility to the facility by adhering to its philosophy and general policies.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations and logistical aspects of the activities program.
  • Delegate tasks to Activities Aides under the direction of the Activities Director.
  • Maintain activities supplies and equipment.
  • Monitor inventory of routine equipment and supplies.
  • Assuring that the medically related social and emotional needs of each resident are identified on admission and quarterly thereafter.

Child Care:

  • PDH is thrilled to provide our Child Care Center services to all families in our area. Our program is operational from 7:45am to 5:15pm, Monday through Friday, and is approved for children aged 0 to 5 years. After submitting your application, our Child Care Director will get in touch with you about your acceptance into the program. Once approved, we will start the enrollment process.
