In addition to physicians, you may encounter mid-level health care providers during your appointment at a Plumas District Hospital clinic. Our mid-level providers work closely with our physicians to diagnose and treat a wide range of health conditions. Their work includes taking medical histories, performing physical exams, ordering and interpreting laboratory tests, managing and treating illnesses and writing prescriptions.
