Your Gift Could
Save a Life
At Plumas Health Care Foundation we are committed to raising support for the vital services that Plumas District Hospital provides to the residents of central Plumas County.
In past years, the Foundation has used the funds from your kind gifts to purchase a new photo-therapy unit, used to treat newborn jaundice, for the hospital’s obstetric department and a number of personal digital assistants (PDAs) for the nursing staff. The PDAs put an entire library of specialized medical information in a nurse’s pocket.
Last year, your contributions expanded the Safe ‘N Snug Baby Bags program, allowing PDH to give each and every new mother a kit containing educational materials about safe infant sleeping practices, safety in the home, breastfeeding and other important habits. Kits also include baby care items, such as a digital thermometer, diapers, baby blanket and hygiene items (soap, shampoo and diaper rash medicine).
We invite you to join us in this effort. When you give today, you will help ensure that PDH can provide the best care now and in the future.
Thank you in advance for your gift. It will make a real difference!
