Low Cost Health Screening Scheduled First Week of May
QUINCY, CA, (May 6, 2019) – Plumas District Hospital will hold the annual Low-Cost Health Screening during the first week of May. The low-cost health screening
will take place from 6:30 am – 8:30 am beginning Monday, May 6 and running through Thursday, May 9, 2019 in the North Fork Building at Plumas
District Hospital (1065 Bucks Lake Road, Quincy CA 95971). Test results will be mailed to the address provided on the consent form.
No appointments are necessary; however, participants are encouraged to come on the day assigned to the first letter of their last name. A through F on
Monday, May 6; G through M on Tuesday, May 7; N through S on Wednesday, May 8; and T through Z on Thursday, May 9. You must not eat for 12 hours prior
to the blood draw. You may continue your normal intake of water and take any medication as usual.
Health Care Package costs $75 payable by cash or check, and includes: Complete Blood Count, Comprehensive Metabolic Panel, Thyroid Stimulating Hormone,
and Lipid Panel. For an additional charge, bone density, Diabetes A1C, and prostate cancer screenings will be available. Bone density screening
appointments may be scheduled at the time of the screening.
